Perfect location for exploring Northumberland. Within an hour's drive, plenty to do and see, close to coast and moorlands. Local town within 10 minutes' drive, 20 minutes from airport and Newcastle. Lovely cosy cottage, very clean. Nice gardens and courtyard to look out on.
Felt well taken care of, nothing to complain about.

I keep coming back for the helpful staff who helped me with transport. This place has everything I need - Wi-Fi, free parking, a dryer, and an electric kettle. Plus, beach access and pets allowed. Can't wait to be back for New Year!

The bathroom in Heron Cottage was fantastic! I loved how it had both a bath and a shower. As a frequent traveler, having the option to relax in a bath or quickly freshen up in a shower is a luxury I greatly appreciate.
The only thing I liked less about Heron Cottage was that one of the bathrooms only had a shower. But hey, that's just me - others might still find it perfectly fine!

Great location to explore Northumberland, with easy access to coastline, moorlands, and local town. Cosy and clean cottage with limited kitchen storage, but ample storage in the bedroom. Quiet surroundings, beautiful gardens, and a charming courtyard view. highly recommended for a pleasant stay in the area.
